The Round Tapered Aluminum Camera Pole is a high-quality pole designed for mounting cameras and other equipment. ​ It is constructed using seamless extruded tube of 6063 Aluminum Alloy, which meets the requirements of ASTM B221. ​ The pole shaft is heat treated after base weld to produce a T6 temper, ensuring durability and strength. ​

The pole features a 4-Bolt Cast Aluminum Base Flange made of Alloy 356-T6, along with Aluminum Bolt Covers (Alloy 356-F) and Stainless Steel Hex Head Attaching Screws. ​ This base style provides stability and secure attachment to the ground. ​

For easy access and maintenance, the pole is equipped with a handhole. ​ The size of the handhole varies depending on the butt diameter of the pole. Butt diameters of 4″-5″ have a 2″ x 4″ Handhole with a curved Lap Style Aluminum Door and two SS Self-Tapping Attaching Screws. ​ A Grounding Provision with a tapped 1/4″-20NC hole is also provided. ​ Butt diameters of 6″ have a reinforced, 3″ x 5″ curved Cast Aluminum Frame with an Aluminum Door and two SS Hex Head Screws. ​ A Grounding Provision with a 3/8″ diameter hole is provided opposite the Handhole. ​ Butt diameters of 7″+ have a reinforced, 4″ x 6″ curved Cast Aluminum Frame with an Aluminum Door and two SS Hex Head Screws. ​ The reinforced frame contains a tapped 3/8″-16NC Grounding Provision. ​

The pole comes with an Anchorage Kit, which includes four L-shaped Steel Anchor Bolts conforming to AASHTO M314-90 Grade 55. ​ The threaded end of the anchor bolts is galvanized per ASTM A153. ​ The kit also includes Hex Nuts, Lock Washers, and Flat Washers, all made of Galvanized Steel. ​ A bolt circle template is provided for easy installation. ​

Optional features include a Vibration Damper, which can be factory-installed inside the pole shaft if necessary, according to customer specifications. ​

The Round Tapered Aluminum Camera Pole is available in different sizes and finishes. ​ The maximum EPA (Effective Projected Area) varies depending on the mounting height and wall gauge. ​ The pole is designed to meet the wind velocity requirements indicated in accordance with 2009 AASHTO LTS-5 using a 25-year design life. ​

Please note that the pole should not be installed without equipment, and the finish can be customized to either Satin Aluminum or Powder Coated, as per customer specification. ​
